The Sudanese Doctors’ Network announced that a unit of RSF carried out field executions of 12 people, including a woman, in the city of Nyala in South Darfur State, on charges of affiliation with the Sudanese army. These executions followed airstrikes launched by the Sudanese warplanes on Nyala Airport in the western part of the country.
The network added in a statement received by Al Hamish’s Voice on Sunday that the RSF launched a raid and arrest campaign in the city, resulting in the detention of 31 people, in addition to storming civilian homes and confiscating satellite internet devices.
The Sudanese Doctors’ Network strongly condemned the unlawful killings of unarmed civilians, carried out on the basis of accusations of collaborating with the army. It also denounced the arrest campaign targeting civilians along ethnic lines, describing it as a systematic attempt to tighten the noose around them and force them into displacement.
The network called on the international community and human rights organizations to urgently intervene to stop these violations and ensure the protection of civilians in conflict areas.
