Al Fashir – August 23, 2025: The Emergency Committee of Abu Shouk camp for displaced persons in North Darfur reported that Rapid Support Forces (RSF) stormed the camp and abducted several women and young girls to unknown locations. Meanwhile, the number of missing persons inside the camp has exceeded twenty.
The Emergency Committee called on the international community and relevant authorities to take urgent action to ensure the safe return of the abductees, stressing the need to protect civilians and displaced persons amid ongoing violations.
It is worth noting that Abu Shouk Camp hosts thousands of civilians fleeing the war, where residents suffer from a severe shortage of food, water, and basic services.
