Khartoum / Al-Hamish’s Voice – September 16, 2025. The Sudanese Doctors’ Network announced that 18 people were killed by the Rapid Support Forces during an incursion into an outlying neighborhood of Al Fashir, North Darfur State. Meanwhile, 14 civilians, including three girls, were abducted and taken to an unknown location.
The network warned in its statement of escalating violations committed by the RSF against unarmed civilians inside residential neighborhoods. It noted that the humanitarian situation in Al Fahsir has deteriorated sharply amid ongoing fierce clashes, artillery shelling, and airstrikes for the second consecutive day, leading to the collapse of basic services and an unprecedented worsening of the population’s suffering.
The network stressed that the latest escalation, marked by RSF infiltrating northern neighborhoods of the city, carrying out killings, and conducting arbitrary arrests poses a direct threat to civilian lives and further compounds the humanitarian catastrophe.
The Sudanese Doctors’ Network called on the international community and humanitarian organizations to take urgent action to protect civilians, ensure the safe delivery of medical and humanitarian aid, and work to halt clashes in residential areas and civilian gathering sites.
