Dilling / Al Hamish’s Voice – October 11, 2025
Eleven people were injured, including three in critical condition, as a result of systematic artillery shelling carried out by the SPLM–N forces allied with the RSF militia. The attack targeted the city of Dilling in South Kordofan State, according to a statement issued by the Sudan Doctors Network on Saturday.
The statement said that the injured were taken to hospitals in the city for treatment, confirming that the shelling “is part of a series of violations targeting civilians in towns and villages.” It described the attack as “a reckless disregard for innocent lives and a blatant violation of international humanitarian law, which prohibits targeting civilians and vital facilities.”
The network expressed its full solidarity with the medical staff in Dilling, who are making exceptional efforts to save the wounded despite shortages of medical supplies, the ongoing blockade, and the difficult security conditions. It called on international humanitarian and medical organizations to provide urgent support to local hospitals to ensure the continuation of life-saving services.
The network held the SPLM allied with the RSF fully responsible for the attack, and urged the international community and the United Nations to take “a clear and firm stance to protect civilians and stop the repeated assaults on peaceful cities.”
The Sudan Doctors Network concluded its statement by stressing that the continuation of such attacks threatens the lives of thousands of civilians and undermines relief efforts in conflict-affected areas.
