The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, stated that the battle will continue until the last rebel in Sudan is eliminated, emphasizing that there will be no negotiation or compromise with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).
In a speech marking Eid al-Fitr, he added that the armed forces are steadily advancing toward victory, pointing out that the violations and crimes committed by the RSF make dealing with them a zero-sum choice.
He explained that the Sudanese people are the main pillar of this war, affirming that the armed forces stand at an equal distance from all citizens defending Sudan while keeping the door open for those who lay down their arms.
Al-Burhan also praised the support of friendly countries and organizations, stressing that the next phase requires additional efforts to rebuild Sudan. He reaffirmed that “victory will not be complete until the rebellion is eradicated in every part of the country.”
