The Sudanese Doctors’ Network reported that the RSF committed a horrific massacre in the Salha area, south of Omdurman in Khartoum State, where they carried out field executions that left 31 civilians dead, including underage children.
The Network pointed out that this incident is among the largest documented mass crimes in the region, carried out under the pretext of affiliation with the army.
In a statement received by Al-Hamish’s Voice on Sunday, the Sudanese Doctors’ Network expressed deep regret over the continued mass killings of unarmed civilians in areas under RSF control, warning that thousands of lives in Salha are at risk.
The Network described the events as “a war crime and a crime against humanity,” calling on the international community to act urgently to save civilians, establish safe corridors for their evacuation, and pressure RSF leaders to halt ongoing violations.
Local sources also revealed a large-scale arrest campaign targeting civilians in Salha, focusing particularly on young people, under accusations of transmitting coordinates and collaborating with the army.
The sources confirmed that the RSF executed some of the detainees and forced others to walk naked and blindfolded in lines through the streets in an attempt to spread fear among the residents and push the remaining civilians to flee before murdering them in cold blood.
