Khartoum / Al Hamish’s Voice – September 14, 2025 – The Transitional Sovereignty Council announced that the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) launched drone attacks at dawn today, targeting civilian and vital facilities in White Nile State.
In a press statement, the Council explained that the attacks struck the Um-Dabakir power station, fuel depots, and Kenana civil airport, describing them as a “systematic targeting of infrastructure essential to the lives of the Sudanese people.”
The statement noted that the assault came just hours after the Quartet Mechanism issued a call to end the war and return to peace, even as the militia continues what it described as “war crimes and crimes against humanity” against civilians.
The Sovereignty Council affirmed that this war is “directed against the Sudanese people,” stressing that only the Sudanese hold the right to determine their destiny and confront these challenges.
According to field sources and media reports, the White Nile localities of Kosti, Rabak, and Kenana witnessed simultaneous drone attacks in recent hours.
Reports indicated that the army’s air defenses intercepted some of the drones and shot down several before they reached their targets.
